Fog Light Bulbs, will these work okay?

Hello all, I'm fairly new here and I'm after some new fog light bulbs for my 172

I'm just wondering if these bulbs will be a direct replacement for the original fog light bulbs? I want a nice white tint for my fog lights and wondering if these will do the job? I just want to make sure before I buy some :S thanks in advance

Why do you want new foglight bulbs, you never use them in the UK!

Standard bulbs ftw.

i had these and they seem to get really hot and start melting around the fog light. The bulb is very close to the glass front glass of the foglight, was happy one blew as i have changed to LED ones now!

Oh right, well if they're going to melt my fog lights I won't bother lol, I shall have a hunt for some standard bulbs thanks chaps!

Just wanted a non-standard look really, but thinking about it they'll pretty much never be used anyway so I'll just stick with standard bulbs

i got the LED ones and they look real good but are not bright at all so can use them for the look if you like driving with your fogs. Plus LEDs dont heat up and last much longer!

they'll look yellow, put real xenon!
