Fog Light Help

I have fog lights on my Clio but i had to take the bulbs out because the police allways pulled me over!

The reason why is when ever i turned on my Lights my front fogs would come on as well! I dont know how to change this?!?!

Any ideas coz i would like to keep my Fogs for Pictures, Meets & when it actally foggy!

Are they actually off at the stalk?

No i just took the Bulbs out, but when i turn on my normall lights they come on with them! Duno if they are wired up wrong or what?!?!

Look on your stalk. Make sure they're not switched on there. If the switch is on, then yes, they'll turn on with your normal lights.

Then it doesn't have front fogs as standard. Someone has added the fogs and has probably wired them up to come on with the headlights to look 'cool'

You will need to find where they have joined the existing wiring and disconnect them.

Yep! But i want them to come on sepretly! Is there a way where i can have them to come on at a diffrent time?!?!?! maybe add a button where no one can see or wire it up to the rear fog light on the Stalk! coz it has a rear fog light for the red light on the back! could i do that?!?!?1

Yes you could add another switch if you wanted to, halfords sell kits I believe which should contain the relays etc that you'd need.

Don't wire it to the rear fogs, you'll regret it!

You can get the foglight kit from renault to retro-fit front fogs to your car. Depends how much hacking with the wiring the previous owners has done.

The renault kits come with the dual fog stalk etc

Oh and for reference when I bought the kit from Renault it was about £130! But it included the fogs aswell which you obviously don't need!
