Fog light

When I press my brake pedal the fog light lights up on the dash but not on at the light cluster ?? Any ideas

Take the rear light out and clean up the pins, mostly the end one with the black wire. Its not earthing very well and earthing via the foglight wire.

It might be too far gone to save though.
