Fog Lights

  Clio 1.2 Grande
I have a Mk2 Ph1 Clio 1.2 Grande and I am thinking about getting some fog lights.

Firstly, in the local scrapyard I have seen 3 Laguna's (T reg, V reg, W reg) with foglights and was wondering whether they will fit my Clio, as i have been quoted £8 for the pair.

Secondly, am I able to simply remove the fog light covers on my bumper and fit fog lights? I am not planning on wiring them up because of the hassle this can lead to, so I just want them to make my car look better. Is it easy to remove the covers and do the lights just screw in?

Thanks in advance.

Remove the covers, there are holes ready for the fogs, with points to screw into, but the hole for the screw needs one of those metal clip things you screw into if that makes sense. Can't remember the name of one off hand.

I think the fogs are clio specific, although I'm not certain, if some lights look like the ones on the clio, its pretty likely they are.

Oh and yes the covers just pull/lever off.

Cheers for your help and I'm not actually planning on wiring them up, just going to have them sat in the bumper to improve the look of the car.

Dont drive with them on all the time :dapprove:

They will improve front of the car though, good cheap mod/upgrade

You will also need some foglight surrounds to finish them off. They screw into what's call spire clips which you can buy in any car spares shop and screws to match.
To get them working there is a small wiring loom that links the lights together and that plugs into a wiring plug that hangs down behind the front n/s foglight also you will need a new indicator stalk with the fog light switch positions if you don't already have one. Why have foglights that don't work bemuses me.
All the parts you need are on Ebay and this the foglight you require http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RENAULT-CLIO-...arParts_SM&hash=item3ca46043c2#ht_1548wt_1100
Some sellers refer to your model as Mk3 so go buy the year of your car.
