Foglight MOT Question????

If you have Foglights but they are not wired up will they fail on an MOT?
just got a new front bumper with fogs and was wondering lol

any help appreciated cheers

not sure , just ring the garage you're using for the mot ?

i know certain criteria are that if you got the item . it must be in working order .

na its not due for a few months yet but just fitted this new bumper and my stepdad said something about if they're there they have to work even if they're just for show lol

dam lol maybe theres someway of indicating that they dont work like putting the crossed tape on them lol

if not just take em off for MOT lol

I went through an MOT with one fog light out... then again the MOT tester I used was less than competent

i'm not sure , you could remove them i suppose and indicate it's a new bumper

the tester has to prove there wired up to work
or you have to prove there not wired up means the same either way, as long as you dont plug them in and can show him that easily youl be fine mate,

I had a quick look at the Haynes manual for the MOT checks and it only mentions the Rear foglights.

So it should be alright and if it isn't just remove them for the MOT
