same here. I chopped them off. didnt bother with the clips. take the back cover off the fogs and solder some wire throught the rubber grommits, then solder on to other wire n mask with insulation tape. keep the grommits in, as it stopes water from gettin inside the lights.
yea, take one of fake swiches out of the 2 spare on the right of the steering wheel, behind it is a 6 pin connector. Got my swicth from a scrapped clio in the scrappy. That way it will clip straight in to the connector. that connector is linked to the spare loom in the engine compartment. You also need the relay for the passenger fuse box and the fuse for the auxilery fuse box.
bobs ur uncle the switch will control ur fogs
all i gotta do is link up the tiny bulb in the swicth to come on
btw, clear ur pms m8. cos when i get some valver oil dials, im gonna need you to explain how u wired them to give the effect they are working - needles movin and lights on etc.
u can get the relay from the scrappy too. Its a square block shaped thing which connects to the passenger fuse box. not worth much. (pocket job get what i mean ) need to put it in the right slot in the fuse box, just stick it in.
its fits to the 3rd slot in from the right, check a haynes tho to be sure.
