Hello lads and lasses.
I've never been a big one on in car audio like. Just stuck with what i brought her with. I currently have JBL 6x9s. (Not the prettiest of things in a parcel shelf are they?) And standard fronts.
My mate was telling me how crap the sound in my car is. Sounds like the front is holding all the bass and just s**t coming from the rear. I've fiddled around with my head unit (Sony xplod something ) got it a bit better.
But my good friend dug out his Sony xplod 500w amp and jbl sub. Had them all set up in his car until he got a good old ban. Crazy fucker.
Anyhow. Im totally new to all of this, so i need one of you lads to guide me through

I have wires already fished through in the boot,A black, red and blue. I take it these are Gnd 12v and Rem on my amp? I have the two input wires aswell.
Heres were my problems start.
The input wires at the front of the car are dangling behind the dash just above the ashtray. I figure i have to get my head unit out, so i fucked around with that for about half an hour. But cant get the b**ch out, tips!?

Then i obviously need some sort of speaker wire to go through my sub, amp and then my 6x9s? Should there be a junction box on the side of the sub box??

And last but not least,
Do i trust the wires put through by somebody else?

The red wire needs to attatch to the battery

The blue thin one is the remote and needs to go into the head unit

The brown one needs to be earthed to the bolt on the isofix bar

The two phono leads need to be plugged into the head unit aswell.

If all else fails and the majority is wired up then Eastern's Auto are good and cheap based in Gainsborough

Still stuck on getting the HU out, any tips???

You need the removal tools chap, they're real cheap. There's little metal tabs on the harness that lock the head unit in to hold it in place.
