Been looking at the ixus range what benefits does the 860is have over say ixus 75 & is it worth the price premium???
Just want a good point & shoot with good results.

My misses has my old Ixus 70 which gives fairly good results. The 'is' in the 860 is fairly decent though, you can really see its benefits in low light.

Saying that, the ixus 70 has given us some great shots with the flash... have some examples from the ixus 70 and 850is if you want to see them?

Had a brief play with the 75 I bought my rents, the flash blew out everything in full auto! My 4 year old Sony DSC-P100 gives much better results in auto.

Quite like the 70 or 75. 70 last with viewfinder?
116 for 70, 140 for 75,
Mrs thinks 860 might be too complicated. :S

The settings and menus are the same on the ixus 70 as they are on the 860.

Ixus 70 - my misses loves it as it fits in her tiny bag!!
