For people who get free insurance

Be aware that not all companies accept your 3 years free insurance as NCB - just been informed by my mate who works for a insurance company!

Not that it affects me as im old (ish)

Just make sure you ask them if they accept it as NCB before you accept the quote!

Oooh, thats unlucky. My first year free with Renault was included in my NCD when I got the 172.

you only wont get it if it doesnt tally with the amount of years you have been driving

or some companies just wont accpet it, ie churchill, if you havnt earnt them they wont give them to you, but they are cheap enough for me anyway (£700 at 19 with 1 NCB on my 1.2!, £400 next year!!!)

I joined them at aged 20, from 17 to 19 I have 2 years free with ford insure on a fiesta and 19 I had 1 years free with my dynamique so when I joined churchill at 20 I carried over my 3 years free insuraance and they gave me my 3 years no claims.

You just have to make sure you get a letter from your old insurance companies confirming your NCD.
