for those with non-sports and spacers

Im after getting some spacers to go on with my coilovers, I would like the tyres to sit flush with the arches, so what size spacers are people using and which system is best to use.

I was thinking 2x 15mm on the front and 2x 20mm on the rear.

Suggestions?

need to be huncentric for starters and imo the system b ones are the best (bolt spacr to hub and wheel to spacer)...
are you running standard wheels/tyres??

I've got 40mm (20mm each side) on the back, 50mm (25mm each side) on the front.

Fronts are system B, so bolt to hub first, rears are system A, so I bought new longer extended bolts.

I ran 25mm with 172 arches, so 20mm should be sufficient, personally i would convert to studs, have seen a few nuts snap (delta mic spacers).

im running 25mm on the back and im running 20mm on the front all hubcentric.

best pic for the idea bud im also running negative camber on the rear for added clearance aswell as stretched tyres.

Yeah was going to go for hubcentrics of course. Was just wondering what peoples views are on system A and B. I've hear many people saying deltamics system A snap the bolts, if so whats the chances? were these fronts or rears?

Standard dynamique 15's with t1-r's, Have you any pictures james?

mine are deltamics just so you know! think of how hard the setup is and the camber on the rear.

yeah i sort of dont want the hassle of trying align the hub spacer and wheel for 1 bolt. pain in the ass

TY james

It's not that hard really, but can be silly getting them on. Depends entirely on the wheels IMO for spacers, and if you have the wings like people have said. Standard dynam/172 wheels have a w**k offset so need mega spacers. Turini's/OZ F1's aren't wee bad so only need 15/20mm on.

I've got no spacers on the rear atm, 15mm on the front with OZ F1's. Not bad really, had 15mm on the back but the car handles better without, even if I think it looks better with. Got abit of arch scrubbage but can always sort that with a dremmel/grinder.

So did you have arch rub with 15mm's on the back? Dont mind too much able handling as the rears are so far in the body want them out for when its dropped

i prefer the method of long studs with hubcentric spacers.
10mm on rear see's rubbage
and 25mm on front sits flush with sport arches
now im running cup turini's.

but iirc when we fitted bonxy's sport kit 25mm on front sat rim slightly, like 1mm outside of arch.
the best think about running long studs and nuts, is if your 25mm spacer is too much you can just lathe 1-2mm off :D

i used to run 30mm spacers to get wheels close to arch, before the sport wings and turini's

25mm hubcentric with plenty of camber!

Difficult to see, but it sits nicely in the arch.

Can't help with the back, as I've still not done them yet...

I can only just get my finger between the arch lip and the tire though, and it only scrubs on big bumps but not ideal. Trimming the arch lip down or rolling them like RS Clio's is best bet IMO.

ive had some 25mm spacers on the rear now for less than a week andd 1 tyre has allready shown some wear on the sidewall.

I would recommend camber or smaller spacers for anyone else. Im going to take mine off and drop it to where i want it then work out spacers now. cant do with rubbage. :(
