Forced Air Induction Kits

Hi,

I have a k and n 57i induction kit on my little 1.2 clio, but i understand you can get proper kits instead that work more efficiently? Anybody any ideas? went to my local kinda performance shop in leicester and they laughed at me, for wanting such a thing for my clio, yeah yeah i said we dont all have subarus, you prats. So if any non subaru drivers have any help they can give, it would be much appreciated. ps i appreciate that my little car isnt a fully blown wrx jap car, but shes still my pride and joy, so dont upset me. or her!!

You can probably get more efficient induction kits for the 1.2 over the K&N, but essentially it would still be an air filter cone on the end of a pipe. Are you thinking of the PiperX hard cone jobbies which run straight from your front bumper?

Just remembered theyre called VIPER the cone filter I was thinking of! Was having a bit of a mental block when I wrote the post above!!!

whoa there Nosh Clio. I wasnt saying you should go out and by a Viper kit (think theyre about £250) I was just wondering whether that was what you were thinking of when you referred to a Forced Air Induction Kit.

Probably best speaking to other 1.2 owners to see what has given the best results.

i suppose i could always get a bigger engine, but any other ideas greeted with open arms!!
