So my bargain bin suggestions were about right? Saves T10 milking me for DLC on yet another game. No doubt over the next 12 months all the cars that are already modelled in 4 but were removed from the roster on Horizon will be added back in through DLC packs. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a 2013 release of FM5 on a new xbox with more tracks and some of the persistent issues resolved.

Loving this game so far, I prefer the driving physics to FM4, it might be a bit more arcade style but I always got the impression the handling was a bit understeery on FM4.
I’m disappointed to see no Renault’s though, hopefully a car pack will be available in the future

They should of gone with a new IP that's all. It's poor to put this in the same boat as the previous games, as it's just aimed at (for the most part) a completely different audience from what I've seen so far.
I'm going with what I thought originally, and that its the frame rate that does a lot of the damage. In Forza 4 the sense of speed you got when you upgraded your car was as accurate as any one game has come before. I'm not saying it isn't fun, it's just 2 steps back IMO. It's fun for the sake of it, and not because it's a convincing driving game, which is what till now it's all been about. I'll no doubt enjoy playing it but I've no hard on to go out and pay 30 notes for it.

It's the fact that they made a point of saying it uses the Forza Motorsport physics engine. It's all well and good people on here bleating on about it being a different type of game aimed at a different audience but the part I take issue with is the devs repeatedly stating that it's an open world game using the Forza "class leading" physics, which if the demo is anything to go by, it clearly isn't.

Loving it so far. 2 things have annoyed me though, I have done a race where it was all the old minis, that's cool I thought until I realised the speedo was saying I was doing 139mph ina standard mini and roughly 0-60 in 5 seconds lol might of glitches out.
Also and this is my main gripe
Where the f**k is the feedback on the pad from the vibration/rumble. I generally think it handles like forza 4 but with no rumble or so little rumble a lught fart feels more powerful it feels lacking in any real sense of grip which is ruining the steering. Hopefully they can update this as it feels weird now days to play a game that doesn't give you feed back

Got a bit bored of racing (im on the Wristband before Gold?) So went driving........
I've used the map to get as many discount upgrades as possible, as a result, drove most of the map.
HOWEVER! Struggling on 2 things!
Ive unlocked 215/216 roads, Cant find the last one for s**t! Any ideas/tips?
Ive managed to unlock 88/100 upgrade signs, The other 12 are on the map, as Grey dots as opposed to red, but when I drive there, theres no sign there? They are definately upgrade signs, as Ive filtered the map to only show them, any idea how I get these?

Grey means you've already been through them mate, some of the upgrade signs are hidden, found one in a car park before not on the map.

Ah right cheers! Thing is there appears to only be around 12 greys so I put 2 and 2 together!
They'll only show up red if you've passed them without noticing or passed the spot in a race when they're not shown.
I'm over 200 roads now, just loads of little bits to go back and do.
Next on the list is doing the pr events for free travel!

im having to much fun doing the online co-op speed trap missions. hardest one done yet has to be the 8 online players going through one speed trap set at over 200mph within seconds of each other. anyone drops bellow 200mph and its all start again

Starting to enjoy it a bit more now. The first races (green/yellow) are awful. Really bad. But it starts to pick up after that. Found it really easy to level up popularity though. Number one already from just hammering round sideways in my mx5.
I bloody hate the AI too. Race's aren't that bad, but it's when they're driving round they do my head it.
