A family friend of mine is a mechanic and he has said he will decat my car as long as i buy him a crate of stella (sounds like a fair deal) but im wondering if there is any point i only have a 1.2 mk2 phase 1 clio whatdo you guys think?

I think he is having you over, and he will get at least £40 for your cat.
Tell him OK if you can keep the cat, see how things change.

na i keep the cat and he is gonna make it so i can bolt the cat and decat on and off made sure of this so it pass the emissions test on the mot. just did not no if it would make my car run erratically because on ktec.com it says they put one on a clio 1.2 16v and it ran erratically
