Frequency ratings

Have components front and back with a sub in boot.
Whats the general rule of thumb for setting frequencys on components for say mid range and high range. Have my sub set up nicely, but not sure on what hz I'm looking at for components as general practice.

what is the sub set at and i'd set it just slightly above that e.g

LPF on sub is say 80 hz then i'd set the HPF on the comps to about 100 hz
