Front Discs

Just got some new discs and pads - EBC Greenstuff with grooved and drilled discs.

Had a look at changing them but the two bolts that fit the caliper to the swivel hub are so tight its untrue - is that normal???????

Ive been battling for days and they wont nudge - mechanic may get a phone call!

they can get a bit stuck if they havnt been changed for a while
i just used a nice long torque wrench which easily freed them up

I remember when I changed mine. Didnt want to budge...

Took lots of persuasion and whacking with a hammer seemed to help (or did that just make me feel better )

i got my mechanic to do mine

Even today I ripped my front brakes off.

Try using your foot. Get a piece with a long handle.

Try using WD40 and give 1 or 2min to WD40 work.
