front door speakers in a mk 3

A Mk3? There isnt one mate. Have a look at "The history of the Clio" on the main site - thatll help you match up which car you have.

If your car is a "Clio 16V" then itll be a Mk1 Ph1 (1991-94) or Ph2 (1994-96).

they are 13cm mate, which is 5.25 inches.

lol i had my components fitted by bass junkies and they put the cross overs under the dash, would deffinately have components in the front with cross overs and tweeters. In the rear just have a descent set of coaxials. Mine sounds superb now!

Can someone recommend me some replacement front and rear speakers (coaxials?) please..? Wont bother with tweeters. Not too much but ill spend up to £150. Rears are 5.25inch as well arent they?

Just got soem Focal components for the front, Infinity co-ax in the rear and a Kenwood Sub in the boot. Fitted it all except the crossovers and tweeters. Where do you guys recommend fitting the tweeters?

Top of the door seems easiest but I wondered about the bottom of the A pilar or in the door mirror trim.

I have been told you cant get tweeters to replace the factory ones unless you build your own pods and I arent up to that.

Id mount it at as close as you can to the mid driver!

I know for the image but the soundstage is going to be very low then. Latest faves are top of door or A-pillar. Probably top of door.
