Front drivers suspension knocking

Hello All

Have an 04 182 with 50k on the clock, it has developed a knocking noise when going over bumps. Come from the front right and sounds a bit like metal on metal knocking. Would this be some kind of bushel or rubber bit gone. Are they prone to this and i suppose its pretty common, do at home job or garage? cheers

you'd need to check (or have it checked) to see where it's coming from - there are may be a dozen possible causes and lots of methods you could use to help diagnose, but i'd start by checking the bottom arm balljoint
