Front end question on a 172....

Has anyone replaced the plastic grills on the front with mesh, think that would look Phat. Has anyone done it and have you got pix???

The fog lamp covers painted looks mint on the silver 172. Wouldnt be that expensive if they went wrong either as only 12quid for the pair.
