front fogs not working?

ive got a 2002 1.2 16v clio, it has front fogs as standard, wiring, bulbs and fuse are all there but they dont work?

any ideas why not? thanks.

have you checked the relay? and the connector behind the bumper? dont know if the ph2 are the same but my ph1 had te same fault. traced it down to a dirty connector.

Does it have auto lights? On my 172, I don't think the front fogs come on unless I have the lights manually switched on.

No they are not auto. I don't know much about how cars work tbh but I've had a look. In from under the bonnet and there's wires and stuff.

Any advice on how to check the connectors and relay would be great thanks.
