Front left brake noise?

  mk2 ph1
Hey all,

Got a little problem...

Havn't been out in the car much recently due to uni but im home now and was going through a list of jobs on my car today and my front left brake makes a weird noise under heavy braking.

The car stops fine and doesnt pull in any direction but the noise sounds like its locking up or something. I've got new pads but the discs have seen better days. Could it just be warped? Or is it something else?

Might be a good reason to get the big brake kit for my car =]

Thanks in advance

JaMo

Most likly new pads and disks re all thats needed.

Big brakes kits a waste of space.

Assuming you've got the 239mm disks then get the calipers the bolts and the caliper bracket of a 259mm car ie 99.9% of phase 2 's (RS excepted) or the 1.6 16V mk2 phase 1 or the Williams or the Valver as there better brakes.
