Front of car sounds like squeaky bed springs!

  ClioSport 172 Cup
This annoying sound first started after doing the following mods:

40mm Drop on Progressives
Powerflex Polyurethane bushes all round
KAM racing Solid strut top mounts

When you go over any bumps the front of the car sounds like its creaking, when i come to a stop it creaks!

Has anyone else experienced these noises with any of the above mods?

Cheers,

Samuel

Ahh, no i didnt lube them up. The only bits a lubed slightly were the end bushes where they go over the ends of the anti roll bar. Apart from that i lubed no other parts...
Are they going to break now i havent lubed them? or is it nothing to worry about?

Ah! I also get this on my ph2 172 but i dont have any aftermarket bushes etc. Mine sounds exactly like a squeeky bed when going over bumps in the road at <30mph.

Would this be a good indication my bushes are knackered or just in need of a good lube up? :p

Sargara: wouldn't like to say without looking, but OE rubber bushes don't need lubricating as a rule.........although it can shut up tired squeaky rubber!

Sammy: Yes is the answer. Polybushes need to be lubricated on the moving surfaces or they can fail prematurely and make lots of irritatind noise! Use PTFE grease though if you can.
