Front spoiler for ma clio, will it fit

Now, I am 19 and four new 17 inch alloys is out of the question atm! But, that front spoiler looks tasty for a start, as far as I know both cars body are the same, JUST BY LOOKING AT THEM. BUT, will that spoiler fit on mine? Thats a 2litre 16valve model, and mine is a 1.2litre (come on guys, my first car, I have insurance to think about!, ok first year is free)

Well I, err.. handbraked round a 90 degree corner and did some damage to the front side panel, and also knackered an alloy (#!£&) oh well! I have learnt my lesson! So getting this front spoiler would be a good upgrade! It would need painting, any ideas on a good place to go for this and likely costs?

Things like air filters etc.. exhausts

I dont know if that front spoiler will fit your car, but the 2.0 and the 1.2 do have slightly different bodies, Im afraid. The track of the 172 is wider than the 1.2 (front and rear) which seems to have lead to the 172s flared wheel arches & a wider front bumper. Probably best to email Samsteffansson and ask if it can be made to fit...

Anyone else that might be able to tell me whether the front bodies are the same? Just because its the 2litre 16v, is it the 172? Any renault contacts that would know for sure?

It aint gonna fit cos the 2.0 16v (172) has got wider front wings and bumper than your car so that front splitter will be too wide. On a standard car it would look out of place anyway, get some wheels and lower it

I think that Prima do a replica 2.0 sport front bumper that fits other clios. Give them a bell and ask.

When searching for kits for my car, what am I searching for.. I mean there are Clio 1, 2, 3 some labelled 16v, but which apply to my car?
