Front Springs

Car  Clio MK3 RS
Hi guys and girls

I was having a nose around the front end of my recently purchased Clio 200 and I noticed something concerning with my front springs. I’d welcome any comments but to me they appear broken...? Right side is the first pic and left the second. Obviously the left side seems worse... which could explain the knocking noise??

No probz.

Maybe time to get some decent lowering springs in their as Renault ones will cost you the same price for 2 as a set of 4 lowering springs from a decent company like eibatch would cost you

Thanks will definitely consider that. Another interesting question, as I think these look like they’ve been dead for a while is should this been picked up on an MOT?

Yep, but proving that will be difficult.

Guy probably got a friendly mot done to get it sold.

You’re probably right. It just worries me, whether there’s anything else wrong with the car. Got it booked in to a local Renault specialist for piece of mind.
