front strut holes

i have just recently brought a clio mk2 1.2 16v 2005 and i am on about lowering it and was wondering what size front strut holes it is because i know there are 52mm or 58mm.
what are better lowering springs or coilovers?

Coilovers. And most likely 58mm. But better to double check!
