how are the fasterned i no throught the top struts but when i lowered my 172 i cant remember there being any bolts! anyone got any pics?

  RS RIP
front struts supposably do next to nothing because of the suspension being so close to the bulkhead so already stiff..

back one was better

ye i got the omp front and rear on my 172, feels a little stiffer but prob all in my head, looks fooking mint tho, spec on a flameR, th fact they attach by self tappers is gay! however i simply put it in place then tightened it up then put th tappers in, what they are for is to holding it down, not holding it in place, the brace will rise up as you tighten it and pushes against the side of the turrets, still not as good as propa fitting though!

strut brace is attached with self tappers innit?
thats how you bodge them on lol. to do it properly you mark out the holes, drop the legs out and bolt them up from underneath so the thread of the bolt is showing in the engine bay. so ive been told anyway. was also told that even if you do just self tapper them in you still have to have the fron of the car off the wheels so that the struts sit naturally then put it on, then drop the car on the floor then tighten up (if adjustable.) but im not sure if you tighten inwards or outwards as i would have thought it would have been inwards (to help with the ol` negative camber) but i was told outwards to square up the struts.
