Frozen pixels on LCD

Got a couple of grey pixels on my TV, so am assuming they're frozen and not dead... :dead:

Apparently there is a method which may unfreeze them, what is this aforementioned method?

when ever i get them on my tft's at work (dunno if this method will work on a tv) i just poke them and they go

If you get stuck pixels just flash the screen with loads of different colours really quickly.. sometimes TV's now come with the flash program built in.

I've just tried this on my works LCD and the pixel is now normal again!

theyre more than likely dead pixels and if so nothing will shift them
