Fuel computer display - Whats this

On the fuel info display etc what does the following mean

O----then a pic of car with a G above it?

Full used since you last reset it. the G is for Gallons, some say L for Litres

Average speed since resetting display..

miles covered since resetting display (I usually do this every fill up)

Miles left til the fuel light comes on (Not always right but not far off)

Average MPG since resetting display. (looks like wifes been playing )

I listed them all just in case you didnt know what the rest were
The others were total milage and cruise control displays too.

Not me matey, wife's been driving it during the week

Besides, I've just added up the miles done+miles left, had half tank in the car when it got reset, so for 266+ miles is pretty good going for a 182

Unless I was driving it of course lol

I've found that this is miles left to the tank going on the mpg figure, including time spent with the light on, not time until the light comes on. That's a mk1 172 though, could be diff on others.

I've found that this is miles left to the tank going on the mpg figure, including time spent with the light on, not time until the light comes on. That's a mk1 172 though, could be diff on others.

Same on mine. Its estimated miles until it konks rather than till the light come on.

All the computers say when you'll run out of fuel not time till light comes on.

You can change the display but you need a Renault CLip laptop and tell it to install the dash as if its a Euro car.
