Fuel Economy

Hi,

Just wondered if this is a problem with my car or just the general weather at the moment. When the weather was relatively warm i got on average 28 to 32 MPG depending how I drove and obviously how often I drove.

Since the weather has been cold i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4 degress I have noticed on the dash computer the car is doing around 26 MPG.

Could this be caused through the weather or could there be something wrong with my car? I use Tesco 99 Ron and on my last fill up i used Sainsburys 97 Ron.

Just curious really.

i believe its the weather.......ive lost about 4-5mpg lately too!!

Amazing what a few degrees can do.

Maybe it is because I have the heater unit on full for the first 20 minute or so on the way to work and letting the car run and warm up before using it i suppose uses more fuel than normal.
