Fuel filler rust.

While cleaning my car i noticed that where the fuel filler cap hinge bolts onto the shell is going rusty. Has anyone else had or got this?
What's the best way to sort it out Before it gets to bad?

Remove filler flap, flat back carefully, apply some rust inhibitor, paint.

Can't say I've noted any rust on mine.

Yes and mine is worse than that. Need to do the above. When done put some tank tape over the gap in the wheel arch lining to stop water flicking back up to it.

Mine is doing that. Need to stop it before it gets too bad.
