FUEL PUMP MOD

Ive done this once before but get asked all the time on how to do it

Modding a fuel pump on a renault is pretty straight forward - any car running 250 bhp + or with NOS will benefit gratefully from the mod. First of all order one of these from this guy

Then lift your back seat up and unscrew the black ring holding your fuel pump / sender unit in. Pull the unit out and follow the instruction on the diagram below - be careful as this is a delicate mechanism - it also acts as your fuel gauge so if you knock it or drop it it may give you an innacurate reading.

Once the pump is out simply adapt any wiring and refit using reverse instructions - like i say some units varey so common sense and mechanical knowledge will be required - you may have to adapt the housing and the fuel regulator depending on your set up

These pumps are good for 500 bhp

can a old/worn pump effect your performance etc

and will i regain some of the lost properties of my car by fitting a new one

if so any particular brand good or will any standard one do!!!
