1.6 16v
came back to my car after finishing college yesterday and go in to start the car. when i went to do it, it turned over but didn't start, first time i have ever had a problem starting it. I noticed that the fuel pump wasn't turning on as the i turned the ignition on.
The thing is i don't know why
-i have checked all the fuses
-the connectors near the accel pedal
-the immobiliser lights turns off like it always use to
-i also disconnected the battery for 15 mins and tried it after, still nothings
Though last week my battery died for some reason, and when had to jump start it, found that when i turned the key off the pump sounded like it was staying on and to stop it happening i disconnected the battery, so then when i came back to the car later that day (battery disconnected for around 6 hours) problem was solved
any ideas would be greatly appreciated, and I'm sure these two are connected
