Fuel rail - anything missing? (photo)

Is there something missing from the near side of the fuel rail, looks like a hose attachment and also a forward facing housing of some sort?

The fuel rail cover? Unless that's what you removed.

That's supposed to be like that. Other than the metal fuel rail cover you're all good.

It's where the pressure reg and return goes on a ph1. Everything after that doesn't have it fitted.

Mystery solved, did wonder what those bits were to/for.

Cover was removed for inspection.

Anyone know why on the later models they don't have regulator? My freinds has a phase 1 172 and he has that same set up, but my phase 1 has a regulator..

Regulator is fitted in tank.
