Fuel Rail Guard Loose

Car  182
Just been looking under the bonnet and noticed that the fuel rail guard is loose. How do I go about tightening these bolts up, there doesn't appear to be much space.

Regards

two 10mm (or 13mm) bolts in the two holes to the right, you'll need a socket extender.. pretty easy

Take it off and check the threded "pins". Mine got loose as well, one of the pins had cracked and broken off.

Okkk I have taken one of the pins out and it appears to have broken off......

What do I need to do nowwww ???

:approve:

Just get it welded on? fyi the bolts you've removed also hold the lower inlet on, so make sure they're tight enough when they go back. Mine rattled loose.

Ah, thye ol fuel guard studs eh.

Yeah, mine destroyed themselves, the guard was held in place by the engine cover in the end.

anyone else have a spare? Mine has broken off similar to above but i've left it in place to keep the inlet on.

Cheers

David
