how much fuel am i likely to use on track at FCS and how may miles will I cover?

Maybe someone who did it last year could shed some light.

I used half a tank last year iirc
Not sure how many miles it was....but I know it was going down pretty quick!

feck me what a daft thing to worry about ;) Not a thing to worry about in clios, my 172 did about 20 mpg on track, when your doing 9 mpg like my megane does, then start posting threads about it!

wasn't worrying about cost. worrying if i will be able to drive there, go round track and get home on one tank. I sure theres a petrol station nearby if i get stuck.

Half a tank in an hour Tucks - you got a leaking fuel tank or something?

I only used around a 1/4 last time out at Brunters with a couple of stops for passenger changes.

Want to run as light as possible to be honest ;)

I average about 15mpg on track. I'd say you'd probably be safe to assume you'll use about half a tank, depends how much time you are out there for during the hour really. Mine went down very fast last year though, thought i was going to have to stop early, but then it recovered and lasted the session.

Don't worry I burn about tank of fuel in just over half a day usually and thats say 4 hours. 1hour is nothing.

I certainly wouldn't suggest going on for an hr!!!!! Mayb 30mins! You'll cook your tyres amongst other things.

14mpg and a emptying a full tank on a renaultsport day at Oulton. If its only a few hours on track i wouldnt worry if you arrive with half a tank.

What car is it?
