full fat

  Renault Clio 182
can i ask what this is all about wether you have a full fat clio etc?
and you get cup packages?
whats all the difference?

A full fat clio has air con, alacantra seats ( half leather) so is heavier. The cup doesnt have these and so is alot lighter hence being quicker, ( although some may disagree).
Hope this answers your question

There's no such thing as a "full fat" clio... its just slang.

the top spec clios are simply known as 172/182 cup packs.

the lower spec clios are known as cup/trophy.

Sachs racing dampers make the Trophy a far higher spec than some leather seats and xenon headlamps. ;)

cup packs also include a front splitter, anthercite alloys and stiffer suspension did it not?
i thought 'full fat' was aircon, leather and xennons + cup packs.

lol yeh sorry was talking crap. You can have a FF 182 with AND without Cup packs.

Kilo yours ahs the Cup spoiler and wheels and probably suspension. No splitter tho

FF 172s are different to 182s in that they weren't offered with cup packs (i.e. the different suspension/anthracite wheels/spoiler/splitter). It was a straight choice with the 172 - the FF version or the 172 Cup
