Full Nokia Car Kit Into A Mk2

Has anyone fitted a full nokia car kit into a mk2 172 before? I have just ordered one and am wondering where the best mouting place is going to be for it? I want to try and avoid drilling into the dash pieces, does anyone know where I can order the specialised brackets from?

I know you can get ohone holders that clip onto the air vents, would imagine a company of nokias calibar(sp) would do these. Try their website, or carphone warehouse stores

The dealer put mine in dude, It sits on the passenger side, low down,on the centre console, it can be in the way of passengers legs, and if you move it too far over your way, it can get in the way when your going for 5th ( I have an LHD car) Id go and have a friendly word with the local dealer, Im sure they can give some advice, if you ask them nicely. The actual bracket, sort of fits in between, the plastic to the centre console, so I dont think youll need to mess up the console with holes.

Mate go to your local carphone and ask the salesman to look your car up on melon and order you a bracket. its about £15

if you dont want to do that stick it on with very heavyduty 3m pads

Are you wiring it into the stereo?, mines wired in so it mutes the radio when calling and comes through the car speakers as opposed to an external speaker.

there is a clip that you can order that slides down the side of the radio... Ill get a photo of mine.

ahh, no good mate, I have a motorised 7" screen in the dash, so it cant go anywhere near that. Its, either near the vents, or down the bottom by the passengers footwell (on the centre console) but I guess that would mean screwing into the console.
