***Full respray-cost***

how much would i be looking at for a full respray in naples red??? inc colour coding the bits that arent c/coded atm???

I think its about 2k for a decient job sure you can get a cheap garage to do if for 1/2 that but preperation is the most important and expensive part and thats what make it look good over a long time.

Yeah, £2k sounds a bit excessive!!

Was quoted around £1200 for a top notch full spray on my car, can get it for about £500 elsewhere but as said above cheaper does not = better

£500 ÷ lots of man hours = pay cheap, get cheap!! ;)

I know some guys who do this for a job and it takes a lot of work to get a good finish on a car and if there is a change of colour, there is even more work to do!

i wouldnt spend under a grand for a respray, chances are corners will be cut and finish will be sh*t, you could save a bit by stripping the car down and trailering it to the bodyshop but as far as prep is concerned the general consensus is although its simple in theory many bodshops spend more time putting right the prep someone has done in the misguided notion that its a case of a bit of flatting back and throwing it at the bodyshop.
