Full respray

  PH1 172
For the people who have done it i.e. the white clio 172 rep in the header....how much does it cost to have the whole car resprayed a different colour and done properly? When I say properly I mean no one could ever tell it was a different colour to start of with...engine bay etc.

Cheers

Depends how much you want to do yourself.

If you remove the engine and interior etc you are reducing the workload for the bodyshop so you should be paying less.

Just bare in mind in order to get the best covereage you want the car stripped to a bare shell, engine out, interior out, suspension off, glass out, doors/wings removed and painted seperately. Cars are obviously more difficult to transport to the bodyshop this way too.

Prep work is a massive chunk of the cost, so as Jack says... it depends how much you want to do yourself.

What you thinking of anyway?

Cheers for the replies....and based on those "I'm out".....

At some point I want to use the car just for track and for that I wanted the car to really stand out but for the amount it costs I will just save the money and use it on more track days in future :)
