funny noise from near passenger head light?

yeah that sounds like it is a knackered adjuster as rich-6 has said. It happened on my 172 when i'd just bought it but luckily the car was still under warranty so my local renault garage sorted it for me.

its a wee motor on the back of the headlamp

you can see it in your pic. it has a little off white colour adjuster ontop of it that an allen key fits into. nearly dead centre of your pic

how do i replace this? do you use the allen key to remove it?

Nope they just twist out. Then you remove the end of the adjuster from a groove in the back of the headlight lense.

i dont mind any more my dad has sorted the gararge out i bought it from and they are doing it on the warrenty now ^__^ yay, after i rang yesterday and they said no. LOL
