Hi Folks...
Recently bought a ph1 172, it has now developed a funny noise coming from the engine bay direction when you accelerate any way hard...
It does it most in 1st gear, then a wee bit in second then less in third etc etc.... Sounds horrible, like a really bad knocking... It also only happnes when accelerating hard... Thought it was an engine mounting, or drive shaft but doesn't seem to be any of these...Also just had the exhaust replaced, as I thgouht it may have been that... Still hasn't cured it... :dapprove:
Doesn't do it when the car is stationary and you rev it... Any ideas.. I'm stumped!
Car has a warranty, just a matter of gettin time to get it to the garage!!
