FUSE HELP PLZ

  GW 200T
I have just replaced my spoiler with a Cupped 1, I had to replace the fuse because i blew it when i when cut the connection on one of the ends of the two joiners that work the brake light, Did this because the cupped spolier was missing the connector on its end, when the blew the fuse it knocked oput the dials on the dash as well so i replaced the fuse and it worked, i screwed the spoiler down and i it blew another fuse why does tis keep happing?????????please

The fuse is correct at 15A that's what it should be, it controls the following equipment -

F2 Stop 15A Brake lights, Instrument panel, Shift pattern control, Diagnostic socket, Driving school, Opening alert, Cruise control speed limiter control, Mobile phone connection, Electric door mirror control.

Have you taken the spoiler back off to check you haven't trapped a cable?
Are the spade connectors insulated?

It means there's a bare piece of cable touching the car body and earting itself.. 15 amp's the right one.

Da-ive taken spoiler of but i havnt tappd the connectors up so that mit be worth a go when i get hme. As the spade connectors are metal and they sit under the spoiler on top of the metal boot lid could that be a cause? Just dnt get it as restd it on the roof b4 i put the brake lit in the spoiler and it wrkd.

Yeah that's the problem - you shoud really have used insulated connectors.
If you tape them up this will be fine, but ensure you tape them up seperately - don't tape them together!

A Massive thank you to every one that has helped got it working at last, i know it was a simple thing but iam thinck when it comes to things like this.

Glad it's sorted mate :)

If you taped them together then you'd have a dead short as one is the +ve feed to the brakelight and the other will be the -ve return.
It's the same as it shorting on the bodywork of the car.
