Fuse keeps blowing for stereo

Anyone any ideas why my fuse keeps blowing on my 04 182, its the one for the stereo, worked fine for ages with my pioneer stereo but now seems to be poping them almost daily

you must be trapping a cable at the back

ive seen people blowing the fuse that way many a times

take it out an make sure the wires are all neat at the back and dont ram it in

cheers mate, checked all that and now to give you a laugh, id dropped a screw into the cig lighter without knowing which was powering up with the ignition lol such a fool i feel

HOLY THREAD REVIVAL!

Had a similar problem today, saw this thread, checked the fag lighter, the 3.5mm jack from my hands free kit had fallen into the socket and was shorting the cigarette lighter causing the fuse to blow! OOPS!
