  mk1 172

OK, I recently aquired one of these (thanks Mike ;)) and have obviously been playing

Now the question being how accurate have people found these and is it representative of what your car actually achieves?

For instance, I have a mk1 172, had a little bash earlier and achieved 0-60 in 6.41, and 60-0 in 180 ft (I didnt stand on the brakes with any aggression)

Now, considering the car is booked around 6.9 ish, thats pretty good (I think)

So what have other people achieved on the nifty little device and in what cars? Oh and no fishermans tales!!

13.5 1/4 mile at the airfield meet, that was me and that supercharged saxo (ben J) I think, on a sprint side by side.

They are pretty good really, most people on the forum say they are pretty accurate but make sure you get the correct vehicle weight put in it.

I would say you 0-60 time is not going to be far off from what you have said.

the weight has no bearing on 0-60 etc, just for calculating BHP.

e.g. if its this heavy, and went this fast it must have been putting out this much power.

they seem to be very consistant, im sure someone ran one at a rwyb and it was within 0.1 secs each time.

need to be on a flat road though, and
