Galaxy S2 Question

So I ended up getting the S2 last week, and have been getting my head around everything. But one thing which is annoying me is the contacts.

When I go in to "messaging" and then click on the address book to bring up my list on contacts, I am greeted with a HUGE list of random email addresses etc which I have sent one-off emails to via my email account.

But when I click on "contacts" from the home screen, they do not appear in the list to be able to remove them? They are only shown when in the messageing app.

I hope this makes sense and someone can offer me some advice!

On my S it's just go to Contacts -> Menu Button -> Display Options -> and then check / uncheck which you want.

Hope it helps somewhat. I had my Twitter contacts all popup when I went into the same thing.

Didn't seem to fix it which is annoying.

Oh well, just have to put up with it I guess!

I had this on my HTC Wildfire. Exactly the same. Disabled them coming up in contacts, but still all came up when texting.

No never worked out how to sort it. Didn't look much into how to sort it.
Maybe its an Android issue rather than specific to phones as we both had it.
