Gaming mouse

I'm playing battlefield 2142 online and the mouse that came with my pc is doing my nut in, i was thinking of getting the microsoft habu 2000hpi about £36, what do you lot recomend or is that 1 on good?

I've always used the basic wired microsoft optical ones. No frills, cheap and work without any problems at all. I've put many an a hour in on BF2 and counter-strike with them. No more frustration trying to find that elusive headshot.

I prefer a normal/low dpi mouse for playing FPS games such as BF2, there's nothing worse than having a too sensitive mouse when trying to aim accurately, i used to use a MX518 but ditched it for a Microsoft Intellimouse which is a five button wired optical mouse.

Agreed, specially playing at high res, i have a mx310 (was £8 about 3/4 years ago) and its still going strong!

To be honest i don't know why i really need one, just thaught if i'm playing bf and i need a proper mouse to play it with, or am i just wasting money getting one?
