Gaming/office chair

How did you end up here?

I’d like a new chair, no wheels necessary (but ok), quite pleasant to look at.. not sure where to do.

I used to be able to get ‘samples’ from my interior architects but apparently we’ve been told off and asked to stop doing it.
It was mainly speaking to a few people and seeing posts on here and the majority of people like them!

Pretty big lump to swallow but I'm spending more and more evenings sat in a chair so fancy being comfortable/supported whilst doing it.

There's loads of people who have them on here @SharkyUK @Cub. @I Changed My Name @donnylad to name a few!

Yup - I honestly can't fault my SL. Only one major issue is a slightly split arm rest on the padding but that was my fault as I caught it with a flippin' razor blade. No squeaks, no wobbles, easy maintenance. Just dust and hoover it, and every few months I use the alcantara cleaner on it that I use on the steering wheel in my Porker (Sonax or AutoGlym). Bosh.

EDIT: And lots of Febreze depending on dietary habits.

Yeah mines been mint. Before I went through about 3 chairs in 2 years because they were cheap and w**k

8 hours of gaming made my arse feel like I'd been rimmed by a rhino. I've not had that once with my SL chair over the past 4.5 years

I was torn between a SecretLabs or a HermanMiller, they're not cheap but when you're in them for a while what's the point in being uncomfortable

Cheers guys. Proper excited me even more that I've made the right purchase.
Their sales support has been great too.

Had a slice in the leather of the seat base underneath - so clearly not visible and it didn't really bother me. However, I contacted them and they sent me out a replacement seat base FOC - all I had to do was pay for the delivery.

Did that and they didn't even want the old seat base back. Flogged it on eBay with clear images of the cut and it still sold. Made about £40 on it!

Turns out my carpets match my curtains now 😂

Genuinely impressed with how premium every parts feels when putting it together as there's some proper weight to it.

Delivery driver left if on the step and I said to Sam to bring it in when she gets a mo... When I got home it was in the same place. Not a chance was she moving that! 35kg 😂😂😂

Will see how I get on with it. I expected firm so I wasn't shocked when I sat in it so I can see how it'll be decent long term.

Looks awesome mate, I absolutely love mind. Cracking company too - I had normal wear and tear on the bottom of mine but within the first year and they sent me a new base for free. I still haven't used it either yet, still in the box!
