Just tidying out the crap from my PCs and came across these pics from about a year ago. A m8 of mine pressed the right-pedal a bit too much and the stupid auto box went into kick-down....... on a bend.

Just a bloody good job that there was nobody on the pavement....

Ive never been a fan of turbos and auto boxes. The two never seem to know what the other bit of kit is doing.

At least it would brighten up the TV ratings for garden programs. Going sideways in an MR2 with Charlie Dimmock - Doughnuts for Beginners in a Skyline with Alan Titchmarsh........ the possibities are endless.

heh Hi Darren !!

yeah it drives fine. Better than ever in fact - had a 3" downpipe fitted in place of both the CATs, plus other things like learning how to take good care of the engine and gearbox (autobox). I love it to bits!

hmmm more prangs umm.. well a parcelforce van had his doors open by the side of the road, and the wind blew it around into my passenger door as I drove past .. and that ex-mate who jumped on my bonnet - still not repaired. But apart from that its spotless

Hows the Clio mate? Friend/customer of mine is getting one. She wanted a Lupo GTI at first but now shes going for the Clio - quite a fan I think.

The cars going fine so far, Carl - suffering the same engine creaks and stuff that most 182 drivers have on here, but thats about it. Its worlds apart from the previous SnotMobile, in terms of handling and dare I say, build quality over the Fiat. N/A driving takes some getting used to after a turbo though!

Keep an eye out for Matt16v on here - hes a Jap-turbo-car-loving owner too!

Lupo would be a good car and the insurance (even for the GTi) is quite a bit less than the 182. They look too girly for me, but you did say your friend was a she, so that isnt much of a problem! She will be really impressed with the 182, I think.

Looks good FM. Is his UK spec? Ive always liked the Supras, though I thought they would look better with twin pipes at the back.
