Garmin i3

Can anyone tell me whether I would pick up a strong signal with the Garmin i3 sat nav kit as I've got a heat reflective windscreen?

possibly if you mount it in the clear rectangle at the base of the screen, or at the 'hatched' area near the rear view mirror.

Persnoally I wasn't up for that, so bought the extra antenna for about £20 in Comet. The antenna sits just inside the sunroof now, perfect signal.

Havent got a sunroof tho. Will have to see after its fitted.

The Garmin i3 works fine in my 182, when positioned in the cut out at the bottom of the windscreen. Go to www.pocketgpsworld.com to download the speed camera database.

Mine works fine when attached to the side window.
