gaz coilovers and topmounts

fitted new coilovers and replaced top mounts ,now when it is all back together bolted down back on the ground there is a couple om mm gap between the top mount and chassis ,is this normal .

The bit visible from the engine bay? Yes. If there was no gap, you're steering would be bloody heavy.
