Who runs Gaz Gold's I would appreciate your thoughts on whatt hey are like and if you know what spring rates you are running could you please let me know.

I am racing the clio and need an upgrade to the current suspension however there are alot of different combinations.

I've not read great things about the Gaz golds on a Clio 1*2, you looked at BC coilovers Josh, you can option solid camber adjustable top mounts and custom spring rates and are a good price. This is where my money would go...

interesting!!
I cannot find BC ones with adjustable height at the back on a Coilover can only find dampers which is what I run at the minute.
If you have a link anywhere I will gladly have a look.

BC's on the rear are just a separate spring and damper, only GAZ and AST are a full coilover unit.

Ahh right I am keen for full coilover until to give me more adjustment on the rear. It will also make it slightly easy should I want to adjust spring rates.
I have been in contact with GAZ and they recommend full coilover for racing so I am decision making at the minute.
The GAZ do GHA kits which are similar price to BC's

The BC V1's are a 'full coilover' but it seems they don't cater for the 1*2.

@@Josh - ast's and be done with it mate. Trust me, it makes more financial sense to just jump straight in and buy the best that's available.

I have them with 500lb rear and 650lb front springs. These are far to hard for the road! But on track they work fine for me. I did have GAZ top mounts but had issues with them so went PMS. I only brought them as I knew a mate, who knew a mate, who knew a mate that worked for them so get them relatively cheap. I can't really coment on them verses anything else but top mounts aside I haven't had any issues after 2 ring trips and 4 track days.
